Explore!

Explore! is one of our serious games we use to conduct leadership seminars. Explore! simulates 19th century explorations. Multiple scenarios include representations of several of the great explorations including Lewis and Clark's Corps of Discovery and Ernest Shackleton's ill-fated Antarctic voyage aboard the Endurance.

During our Explore! seminars, participants assume roles as expedition leaders and key staff members while planning and conducting a simulated quest to explore an uncharted region. All aspects of planning such as transportation, route selection, purchase of supplies and selecting party members have a direct impact on the success of the expedition. During the expedition, party members are faced with a myriad of challenges as they encounter native inhabitants, wildlife, and the sheer force of nature.

Historical lessons provide timeless case studies of the value of superior leadership, critical thinking skills, and team processes. Throughout our Explore! seminars we carefully weave historical lessons into the learning process.
